Clue #3: By this point in time I was actually getting rather shaky and had growing suspicions that this was more than just an "early birthday scavanger hunt." All I really wanted was to see Marty - but once again, it wasn't Marty sitting on the steps of First CRC, but Michelle! I couldn't believe that she was involved! She too (with a big smile on her face for successfully 'fooling me') handed me a rose with an envelope with yet another card inside. This card reminded me of God's faithfulness in our lives and the importance of having Christ at the center of our lives and relationship. In it, Marty promised, amongst other things, to continue to challenge me in all areas of my life, most especially my spiritual life (with the Lord's help of course!). Marty then directed me to visit a place that I had been only once before but that he visited 5 to 6 times per week, that is, his workplace. He included with the card a map directing me how to get there (thankfully!), and instructions of what to do when I got there. So once again I was on the move!
