This week marks my last week at Christian Horizons. These are the flowers my program manager and co-workers gave me at our team meeting on Thursday. According to my program manager they gave me sunflowers because I brought "sunshine" to the office... awe (that, and there is a sunflower farm across the road from my program manager's house! :)). Today also marked my last day working with one of my three primary clients. Although he is one of our more 'lower functioning' clients at the SIL, he is also one of the most thoughtful - today he bought me a card and butter tarts and a bottle of pop to share together. Although in the end he decided to take most of the butter tarts back to his apartment to eat himself (after he ensured I took a butter tart for my 'honey' ;)), I enjoyed his kind gesture :). I'm truly going to miss working with each of the individuals I work for. It's been one of the most challenging yet enjoyable work experiences I've ever had.

This reminds me that you're moving out of Hamilton soon, and that is sad.
