So very happy....
... to announce the birth of my newest nephew, appropriately named Asher Timothy, which means "happy " or "blessed" (Asher) & "he who honours God" (Timothy). Asher came as a bit of a surprise this past week as he arrived 10 weeks earlier than his official due date. Thankfully, despite being small, Asher was born strong, healthy, and full of colour. Though he will not be able to go home with Mom & Dad for awhile, we praise God for no complications with his birth! Asher is breathing on his own already and is reportedly doing well. I had my first opportunity to see him last night. He weighs in at 3 lbs, 5 oz. (good weight for being so early!), and 17 inches long. For a reference point, his head is about the size of my fist! Tiny, but perfect. Praise God!

Wow! Congratulations to all of your family! I can't even imagine a baby that tiny! Owen was three times that size! I'm glad to hear that he is doing well and that Karen is well too. That's nice that Judah has a brother now! Asher (and his whole family) will be in our thoughts and prayers!
congrats!!! thats so awesome, i will definately be praying for him too!!
